さくら(Cherry Blossom)
One of the most representative flowers in Japan is the さくら。さくら, which means cherry blossom in English, is a flower that is closely related to Japan. It appears in numerous works of art, literature, and photography. Even though it is not the official flower of Japan (since Japan doesn't have one), nevertheless the さくら is a flower that is loved by people both inside and outside of Japan.

じこしょうかい
はじめまして。Yoonです。I am currently enrolled in the Intro to Japanese class. I decided to learn Japanese because I am interested in Japanese cultures such as 祭り and 歴史。I hope to learn fluent Japanese so that I may study abroad and study the various 祭り of Japan. I hope that this class will provide the first stepping stones for my goal.
ありがとおございます。
